Part-Time Adolescent Transition Learning Center Certified Teacher

JH & HS Girls Basketball Coach / History or Science Teacher

Description:
Maysville Public Schools is seeking a dedicated educator to serve as the Junior High and High School Girls Basketball Coach and teach secondary History or Science. Maysville competes in Class B athletics and values strong leadership and positive relationships with student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the JH and HS Girls Basketball programs

  • Develop practice plans, game strategies, and off-season programs

  • Teach secondary History or Science aligned with Oklahoma Academic Standards

  • Maintain positive classroom management and collaborate with staff

Qualifications:

  • Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate (History/Social Studies or Science)

  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills

  • CDL or willingness to obtain one (district assistance available)

Head JH/HS Baseball Coach / Science or History Teacher

Description:
Maysville Public Schools is seeking a motivated educator to serve as Head Junior High and High School Baseball Coach while teaching secondary Science or History. The position will also include assisting with one additional varsity sport.

Coaching Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the JH and HS Baseball programs

  • Develop practice plans, game strategies, and off-season programs

  • Promote skill development, sportsmanship, and team culture

  • Assist with an additional varsity sport as assigned

Teaching Responsibilities:

  • Teach secondary Science or History courses aligned with Oklahoma Academic Standards

  • Plan and deliver engaging instruction

  • Maintain positive classroom management and relationships with students

  • Collaborate with faculty and administration

Qualifications:

  • Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate in Science or History (Social Studies)

  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills

  • CDL or willingness to obtain one (district assistance available)
